Inkmate, operated by Marko Radeljic, Kraljevec 53, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia, connects illustrators with people and organisations looking for illustration work. We provide the platform; we are not a party to any agreement you reach with another user.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles all payments, billing enquiries, taxes and refunds. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase itself.
Inkmate is a matching and messaging platform only. We do not employ, represent, screen, supervise or guarantee illustrators, clients, or the quality, legality, completeness or delivery of any work.
Any contract, commission, payment, delivery schedule, licence, copyright arrangement or other agreement is made directly between the illustrator and the client. We are not responsible for disputes, non-payment, missed deadlines, quality of work, breach of contract, copyright infringement, confidentiality breaches, or any other matter arising from a relationship or agreement formed through the platform.
Users are responsible for their own due diligence, for keeping written records of agreed terms, and for resolving any disagreement between themselves. We may, at our discretion, suspend or remove accounts for reported misconduct, but we have no obligation to mediate, enforce or adjudicate private agreements.
You must be 18 or older, give accurate information, and keep your password safe. One account per person or organisation. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Inkmate, its name, design, code and content are owned by us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your subscription is valid. Nothing here transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you, or of your work to us.
You keep all rights to your illustrations, texts and pitches. By uploading them you give us a limited licence to store and display them inside the app so other users can see them. You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload.
No harassment, spam, plagiarism, infringing material, adult or unlawful content, no reselling of access, no scraping, no automated access and no attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the service. Do not misuse other people's work found on the platform.
We may warn, suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms or the law, with or without notice depending on the seriousness. If we terminate an account without cause, we refund the unused part of the current period.
The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the last 12 months. We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes.
